Sentence Drawing Sentence at MG Gallery, in Oakland, is part of a series of art events happening internationally called the Independent Drawing Gig No. 4.  There will be drawing related shows happening in New York, Istanbul, The Hague, Maastricht, Vilnius, and Seoul.  These happenings will all be documented and posted on www.indiedrawingsgig.com

MG Gallery is one of the newest venues to enter into the Bay Area art scene, and directors Kari Marboe and Adam Green have decided to work with artists George Pfau and Alexandra Pratt on this project.  We think that this interactive event will be a great opportunity for members of this community to gather and engage in a fascinating art practice.

The main event will be on Saturday, October 11th.  People will be able to break out their drawing tools and participate in several large games of Sentence Drawing Sentence.  Neighborhood residents will join with various known artists from around the Bay Area to create and exhibit the results of these games.
